Description:AIM OF THE POSITION
The position is a strategic partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and Global Commercial Leadership team and will lead/support critical growth projects, tools and analytics for the business. This role will ensure proper representation and materialization of individual area analytic needs. This position will be responsible for developing new commercial reporting and providing data support to our commercial teams and other functions. Key responsibilities include forecasting and reporting revenue results, analysis of key revenue performance metrics, fulfillment of ad hoc analytics requests and collaboration with management to make thoughtful recommendations and create action plans. This role will be responsible for integrating technology, process and analytics to ensure an efficient and effective direction for the Sales team. The ideal candidate will enable the success of the team by providing guidance and strategic vision in key areas of support including, pipeline management, compensation planning and management for sales, forecasting, territory/account management, rep efficiency, utilization of commercial technology and navigation of internal process. Success in this role will require a high degree of business acumen and ability to proactively identify opportunities. In addition, this person should have the ability to influence across the organization to generate consensus and be able to tactically execute to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions through analytics
  • Lead the identification of information needs, design of data analytics plans, and the overall management of the reporting process across multiple functional domains
  • Drive strategic thinking and serve as an analytics leader to functional domains by answering key business questions to define overall strategy and tactics and drive business decisions
  • Review and enhance forecasts, with strong expertise in ability to qualify and quantify the business opportunity, including communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Manage robust commercial and project based programs monthly, reporting on the status of programs, leveraging KPIs based on objective goals, financial targets and program outlines including quality metrics
  • Identifies, defines and qualifies strategic initiatives aligned with departmental and commercial goals ensuring the team’s day to day activities are in service to organizational focus areas.
  • Analyzes sales data to forecast and identify new opportunities or areas of improvement. Analyzes trends and practices of competing companies.
  • Build and manage dashboards to track sales metrics, launch metrics, sales effectiveness and improvements, and sales targets.
  • Assist in creation/development of field Sales incentive compensation plans, implement, and monitor plan performance metrics, and make recommendations to Sales on any plan deviations
  • Partner with Salesforce Administration to evaluate and improve the current state of CRM for improved functionality and higher quality insights for end users.
  • Lead and facilitate operating mechanisms to drive achievement of business goals. Prepare internal and external reporting for key metrics. Measure program effectiveness.
  • Assist in preparation of Annual Operating plans, forecasts and assessments.
  • Provide SFDC governance for segment with attention to mapping of SFDC accounts and ensuring stage discipline. Train colleagues on implementation of new processes and tools. Measure adoption, completeness, timelines and accuracy.
  • Follow all Agendia, Inc.’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
  • Performs other related duties assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
o Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, related business degree required
o MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE
o 5+ years’ experience in life sciences, preferably IVD
o 3+ Years in Sales Operations
o 7+ years’ experience in commercial operations experience
o Extensive System knowledge across SFDC- configuration and admin related work
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA’S)
Specific Knowledge Required:

  • Must have excellent analytical skills, with very strong attention to detail. Business Intelligence (BI) experience preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain complex computer applications and programs that perform analysis, organize data and create reports from various sources
  • Expert knowledge of Excel
  • Expert system experience and knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of relational databases and the ability to create stored procedures
  • Ability to perform complex analysis such as regression, forecasting, and probability modeling
  • Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources
  • Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
  • Ability to work within and meet all deadlines while executing on multiple deliverables.
  • Proven ability to set and meet ambitious deadlines, handle numerous multifaceted financial matters, and see projects through to conclusion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • Works well under pressure
